Wireless Internet Changes: Did They Help?

Since the beginning of the internet era everyone is always concerned with going faster. The reason for this is the wealth of knowledge that is available online is almost infinite, and if you could find a way to get this faster and easier you will have the upper hand. Advances in bandwidth expansion and more streamlined content have made the current iteration of online content more accessible. You can literally pick up your cell phone which is connected to a 3G network and order anything online, check your e-mails, and browse for local entertainment such as movies. But have the advances in this technology actually helped? Wasn’t it possible to do this before by just calling someone? The answer to both questions is yes. Yes, the technology is helpful in that you can do more things simultaneously and not have to worry too much about lag time. Yes, in the past you could have accomplished these various tasks by callingbut it would have taken a lot longer. The key to this any industry is the speed and efficiency we can finish things. Wireless internet still has a long way to go before we won’t have to worry about things such as drops in data packets, or dead zones. The technology behind wireless internet is advancing exponentially, and so is the internet itself.
