Can You Live Without Wireless Internet
The internet is everywhere, and so is the common person these days. Work, school, on the bus, you will always find someone doing something on the net and usually wirelessly. It is hard to remember the time not too long ago before the smartphones and laptops with wireless connectivity. I remember having to get a dock for my laptop at home and at the office just so I could connect to the net. I am sure it is possible, but I think the average user would have trouble without it nowadays. Wireless internet has woven itself into the fabric of what we use and what we do. Imagine going to a coffee shop and having to haul out a network cable to connect to a wall jack? What a mess!
Wireless has also made its mark on the home users as well. If you have a multilevel home, a wireless router is almost essential to help connect devices between floors of your home. And just for ease of use, wireless tends to be pretty hassle free; if you are actually connecting to a location you should have access to that is.
Some cities have tried setting up a citywide wireless network so the residents can access from anywhere. I like this idea if your system was secured, and in an ideal world it would be. All the people in their various meeting and whatnot using tablet devices or smartphones to check other information or play Angry Birds would not be possible without the wireless technology we enjoy. It is used across more than just computers and cell phones as well. There are game systems and handhelds that use wireless internet to connect to players and content as well. I guess the question isn-t can you live without wireless, but rather would you want to?The information doesn-t stop now. Keep looking: Will Wireless Internet Eventually Replace Wired Connections?
